Welcome to the Vivint Beta Community! Vivint Beta programs give you the chance to try out new software, hardware, and app services before they’re officially available. This also helps us drive improvements to the Vivint experience by giving us the opportunity to learn from your insights and hear about what’s working and what’s not.
As a member of this community, you're eligible to be selected for upcoming Beta tests of products that are in development. Since we have many different products in different testing phases, new opportunities to be chosen are frequently available. This information is intended to help answer most common questions of our new members.
How it works:
As a new product approaches the Alpha and Beta testing phase, we'll send out invitations to community members that match our testing requirements. You'll receive an email with instructions, as well as a link to sign up for the particular test.

Here are a few ways to improve your chances of being selected for one our Alpha and/or Beta tests.
Act Fast!
Beta testing is generally a rapid process accomplished in a very short time frame. You'll improve your odds of being selected if you respond quickly to any initial invitations that you receive. These invitations are only open for a short time period and the spots do fill up quick!
Be a Great Tester
By participating consistently, finding bugs, providing high quality and timely feedback, you will increase your chances of being selected for future tests.
